An easier way to learn…
Momentum golf was founded by Christian Small who has coached players who have won on 4 different PGA tours worldwide and been a PGA advanced coach for 20+ years. Christian has developed a layered based learning system that, accelerates your learning capacity by simplifying your thought process and clarifying your understanding. This allows you to increase your attention on awareness and move from thinking to doing into flowing.
This system was developed because Christian saw a disconnect with how everything else we learnt was taught and how people were learning golf. The layered based learning system teaches golfers how to move and stabilise directional based movements and then to become aware of these simple movements, allowing the brain to transfer them into the automatic zone through practice . Once these base movements are created we can then stack on top of these more finer detail and/or complicated movements depending on the students needs or requirements.

The 3 Pillars to Momentum Golf
Momentum Golf strives towards growing golf participation across all areas, by creating access points to entry into the game. Golf can appear to be a hard game to learn and as we make people aware of the Layered Learning process and access to being coached using it, they will be encouraged to give golf a try. Developing the social aspect to learning is also crucial to growing the game as well as access for juniors and women to tailored programs that fit their requirements.
The Layered learning system and the Own your Swing automation process make learning golf accessible to golfers all around the world.
Improving is simply about buying into the process and allowing your awareness and simplified thought process guide you.
Happiness is a word that we need to focus more on when teaching, learning and playing the game. A key component to enjoying something is understanding how to get better at it and this is where the layered learning process assists. Accepting the complexity of the game and setting your expectations alongside other factors also influences how much you will enjoy the game. The final component is the competitive and also social aspect to the game that we endeavor to nurture providing you with more opportunity to test yourself and enjoy the company of others
