Junior Golf Program at Bonnie Doon

We have an exciting and all encompassing Junior program at Bonnie Doon Golf Club, with 40% of the participation by girls !!

Children, depending on age and skill level can begin with us in 3 ways, including individual lessons, small organsied group sessions, as well as within the School Term Program.

- Prior to starting a School Term Program, for the first time - The junior golfer must do a half hour junior assessment and preparation lesson. This allows Christian to assess the junior golfer and ready them for the format of the School term Program -

We offer a School Term program that runs for 7/8 weeks of each school term (depending on time of year) which goes for 1 hour and runs on Thursday afternoon at 4pm (1 class open to all skill levels) as well as Saturday afternoon (4 classes grouped by age) 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm.

Junior Program (weekly)

Thursday afternoon at 4pm - Intermediate Level - Open Class available to all ages

Saturday at 1pm - Kids aged 4-7 years (Beginner)

Saturday at 2pm - Kids aged 6-9 years (Beginner/Intermediate)

Saturday at 3pm - Kids aged 8-11 years (Beginner/Intermediate)

Saturday at 4pm - Kids aged 10-14 years (Intermdiate)

Saturday at 5pm (in daylight saving time only)

Cost for the 7/8 week program is $200/$225

Kids once having completed their first term will receive a Bonnie Doon Junior Golf polo as part of graduating from their first School Term Program.

A term trophy winner and a medal will be presented to the Champion Golfer for the term and the most improved junior in each class.

Getting ONCOURSE

Bonnie Doon Golf Club offers Junior Golfers in the Thursday 4pm and Saturday 4pm, School Term Program classes the opportunity to get onto the Golf Course Thursday afternoons and Saturday afternoons from 5pm as well us Sundays from 3pm in Winter months and 4pm in Summer months. School Holiday programs

We hold a 2-day junior golf camp in the January school holiday period. This 2-day camp will be available for up to 30 kids. Details to be added here once dates are confirmed. To register your interest CLICK HERE

December Junior Tournament

In early December we will hold a Junior tournament accessible to all the kids that are in the Bonnie Doon Junior golf program

The tournament will comprise of 3 sections, a Beginner 3 hole and Intermediate 6 hole and advanced 9-hole event.

This is always a well supported event that encourages parents to come and caddy for their kids and if you are a Bonnie Doon member, play along side them.

The Champion golfer for that year will be awarded to the winner of each section.
